Booking & prices
How much does a night cost?
“Holiday Apartment Wiesenweg” from €64 per night (up to €101 depending on season), “Lake and Mountain View” from €72 (up to €128). On top come a one-off final cleaning fee (€60 at Wiesenweg, €80 at the lake) and the local tourist tax (Kurtaxe) of €2.50 per person per night. At the lakeside apartment the 3rd guest costs €40 to €50 extra per night. You'll see the exact total before you confirm your booking.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, it depends on the season and arrival day: 1 to 5 nights at Wiesenweg, 3 to 5 nights at the lake. The availability & prices page shows the value for your dates.
How do I book?
Right here on this website: choose an apartment, enter your dates and number of guests and click “Book now”. Booking and payment are handled by our booking system (Lodgify). For questions, call us on +49 8364 416 or email daniel@bergwind.info.
How do I pay and what is the cancellation policy?
50% of the total is due at booking, the balance 7 days before arrival. Deposits already paid are non-refundable. No security deposit is required.
Are there any discounts?
When you book on this website: 5% last-minute discount for arrivals within 10 days of booking (stays of 7+ nights); 5% early-booking discount when booking at least 120 days before arrival (stays of 7+ nights).
The apartments
How many guests can stay?
“Holiday Apartment Wiesenweg”: up to 2 guests, 1 bedroom, 50 m². “Lake and Mountain View”: up to 3 guests, 2 bedrooms, 72 m².
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00. Check-out by 10:00 at the lake and by 11:00 at Wiesenweg.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in either apartment.
Is smoking allowed?
No, both apartments are non-smoking.
Is there Wi-Fi and parking?
Yes, both apartments have high-speed Wi-Fi and a parking space is included. The lakeside apartment also has an EV charging station; Wiesenweg has a LAN connection and parking space no. 20.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes. Bed linen and essentials (towels, soap, toilet paper) are provided, plus a hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo. Both apartments have a washing machine; the lakeside apartment also has a tumble dryer.
Location & getting here
Where are the apartments?
In Seeg in the Eastern Allgäu, Bavaria (postcode 87637). “Lake and Mountain View” is on the shore of Lake Schwaltenweiher (Schwalten 2); “Holiday Apartment Wiesenweg” is in the village of Seeg, about 4 km or five minutes' drive from the lake.
How far is it to Neuschwanstein and Füssen?
Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are about 25 minutes away by car, Füssen old town about 20 minutes and Lake Forggensee about 15 minutes.
Can I get there without a car?
Yes. Seeg has its own railway stop on the Marktoberdorf–Füssen line.
What is the Königscard?
The Wiesenweg apartment is a Königscard member: with the guest card you ride various mountain railways for free, get free admission to museums and much more.
Restaurant
Is breakfast available?
Breakfast is available for our apartment guests on request — at Restaurant Schwaltenweiher right by the lake.
How far is the restaurant?
“Lake and Mountain View” is right next to Restaurant Schwaltenweiher; from Wiesenweg it's about five minutes by car.
